What is the Hyde Park Education Foundation?

Education Foundations are private organizations that gather funds in order to support school districts where school budgets fall short, or where a little extra money can provide opportunities students would not otherwise be able to access.

The best example of these opportunities are those provided by our classroom grants. Each year, teachers are welcomed to apply for funding so that they may bring special opportunities, limited only by imagination, to their students. We will be announcing our 2019 grant awards in late May.

The Hyde Park Education Foundation is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization that was created in 2018 to support the Hyde Park Central School District, located in Hyde Park, New York.

Our Mission

is to provide financial resources to individual schools and district-wide programs and activities that encourage and enhance the educational opportunities and well-being of the students of the Hyde Park Central School District.
